In art, there's always going to be the good and the bad, just as Ayush said. There are people that do what they do really well, there are the innovaters that push the boundaries of what is being done, then there's the imitators and those who can't make anything decent. It's a big generalisation I know, but I hope you can get my point.
Also, you're always going to have to be picky with music/art. There's so many people in the world and it's so easy to communicate now (internet etc.), such a wealth/overload of information, the biggest commodity now isn't being able to produce art, but to garner people's attention/intrest.
This is one of my favourite bands, and also one of my favourite music videos.

but have faith, here a well known song, a well known movie for the video, and heavy basslines - sounds like a recipe for disaster and douchery, yet luckily there are those who are able to remind us why bass was cool in the first place.
